Welcome to The Lodge at Burke Farms

For more than a century, Burke Farms has been the heart of the Burke family — a place where generations have lived, worked, and celebrated life together. What began as a family farm over 100 years ago has grown into a cherished destination that continues to honor our roots while welcoming guests from near and far.

Today, the three Burke children and their families still call this land home. Together, they’ve worked to preserve its natural beauty, maintain its traditions, and keep its spirit alive for future generations. The farm’s rolling pastures and peaceful ponds provide a thriving habitat for deer, dove, quail, turkey, and fish — creating a true outdoorsman’s paradise. Our small cattle and hay operation keeps the land productive and picturesque year-round, especially during the fall calving season, one of our favorite times of year.

Located in Sylvania, Georgia, The Lodge at Burke Farms sits perfectly between Augusta and Savannah, just 16 miles from Georgia Southern University and 15 miles from the Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area. Set on 600 private acres, it’s a hidden gem for those seeking relaxation, celebration, or adventure.

Our two-bedroom, two-bath lodge offers all the comforts of home with a touch of Southern charm — a full kitchen with a 12-foot L-shaped bar, a cozy living area with a big-screen TV, and a 30-foot front porch overlooking the pond. Just down the steps, a 20x20 dock invites guests to unwind and take in the view.

In 2023, we expanded our space with a beautiful Pavilion, perfect for weddings, receptions, showers, family reunions, and gatherings of all kinds. Whether you’re joining us for a weekend getaway, celebrating a special occasion, or attending a Georgia Southern game, you’ll feel right at home here.

We invite you to experience our family’s little piece of heaven and see why The Lodge at Burke Farms is so special to us — and soon, we hope, to you. This farm has been in the Burke Family for over 100 years. The three children and their families still live and enjoy the farm as their ancestors have for years. The property has been well maintained for years by different members of the family to keep an abundance of deer, dove, quail, turkey and fish available for all the family to enjoy. We have a small cattle and hay production business that keeps the farm beautiful and busy. We love the fall when all our calves are being born.

At The Lodge at Burke Farms, we believe in genuine hospitality and lasting relationships. Our goal is to give every guest more than just a stay — we want you to leave with memories worth coming back for.
